BIOGRAPHY

I am an HCI researcher, currently pursuing my dual Master’s degree in Data Science and Information Technology at Global Innovation Exchange (GIX) , Tsinghua University and the University of Washington. I am deeply interested in the intersection of embedded systems and digital fabrication for improving personalized healthcare accessibility. My goal is to build ubiquitous, aesthetic, and affordable systems that promote health awareness and well-being by enabling machines to intuitively understand, interact with, and empower individuals with diverse abilities.

Harmony X: Enhancing Exercise Performance through Context-aware Generative Music

HarmonyX enhanced daily exercise performance by utilizing context-aware generative music based on running cadence and heart rate sensing, and providing periodic training feedback.

FlexiGrow: LLM GPT4-based Intelligent Deformable Plant Pet

Recognizing the growing trend of individuals desiring companionship but lacking the time and effort to care for traditional pets, there is an increasing interest in plants as suitable substitutes.

Intelligent Frit Pattern Industrial Design Software for Vehicle Glass

I am the main developer of the project. We proposed an automated design algorithm based on dynamic relaxation constraints, and reduced the design cycle from 2 weeks to 20 seconds.

GymBand: Adaptive Music Recommendation for Heathier Fitness

We aim to help runners achieve running goals in a positive emotion and healthy state by music aid.

Interactive Olfactory Training Device for Alzheimer's Patients

Integrated multisensory therapy with olfactory training by using metaphor design. Implemented a prototype with Arduino and self-designed PCB, providing an accessible and enjoyable rehabilitation training experience for elderly with Alzheimer’s in the nursing home.

Hemerocallis: Smart Jewelry for Mood Monitoring and Healing

This product can detect the user’s emotion in real-time by monitoring their HRV value and carry out emotional healing through aromatherapy.

Designed a dynamic system integrated vision, audio and olfactory modalities adapting user’s physiological status.

A Preliminary Study of Interactive Hand Washer for Preschool Children

Organized a Father’s Day palm painting activity to observe children’s hand washing performance; collected data on washing time, hand sanitizer use, whether their actions were standardized and complete.
